Be ready to dump this show at the end of the season. Abrams will go start 2 more shows, a movie, and an arg and leave this for dead just like he did to Lost. I don't think he actually likes making tv shows, just creating them.

Before this show came out there were mysterious ads posted around the city that x-rayed images of apples and frogs with the title "Fringe". I was intrigued. Then I saw a commercial for it and I was completely underwhelmed. Well, I had nothing better to do and I ended up watching this last night.

It really did feel like they were trying hard to be the new x-files, and I don't think it really works. Some of the acting was pretty bad, like the interactions with the hero and her superior.

It all felt kind of blah, and I wasn't too crazy about the giant helvetica titles that float in whenever they go somewhere. It doesn't add anything, you could just put that info in the bottom left corner and be done with it.

Oh, and didnt know this until just now, but apparently this chick voiced/ was the frame for Nariko of Heavenly Sword.

Hilarious though how the show started on an airplane and then turbulence hit, considering Abrams and all. I found that funny as it happened.

I guess we'll always end up disagreeing on one front or another Despair - Ive never thought of Agent Scully/Gillian Anderson as being attractive...ever.

This show was pretty good. The acting was good, the story was a bit contrived and seemed stretched out for a 2 hour show, but overall I'll watch again next week. I thought the last 40 minutes were great and the twist turn at the end was well done. The starting was really really slow.

I liked it too, I'll keep watching to see where it goes. I have a feeling I'm going to dump Heroes this season so this should make a good replacement. The beginning with the co-pilots jaw falling off was an awesome effect.

I'll dump Heroes in a flash if Sylar isn't the main focus for the villains story arch. Last year's season 2 story began, and ended horribly. Stop adding characters we don't care about. The best thing that happened was Nikki exploding, which doesn't really even make sense since it was a fire in an abandoned building, why would it explode?

The reason I think this show is going to be good is precisely because the last 40 minutes to an hour were really great. The show seemed to stretch itself out for the 2 hour mark. Condensed in to an hour I think this show will probably be worth watching.
