Another cautiously optimistic hope for PSO instead of PSU.
I remember reading something about Kodama recently and it was definitely internal Sega. So she's probably working on some concepts that the fucktards at Sammy won't greenlight, like everyone else at Sega with talent.

You don't have to be smart; you don't have to know the facts, you just have to be confident.

I thought Skies of Arcadia was excellent at the time, thanks to the story, setting, and ship battles. The combat was pure RPG rehash, but then again so are most RPGs.
PSO started off fantastic. I sunk far too many hours into the Dreamcast version and picked up the Broadband Adaptor specifically for online play. And then... nothing happened. The game stagnated, and Sega started charging for it while putting out new versions that were pretty much the same as the old versions, complete with antiquated online options. That's a pretty half-assed approach to a series with the word "online" in the title.
I'd love a new PSO, but it would have to be in the hands of a company that either isn't Sega, or at least Sega Japan.

Not totally hot on a few of the character designs, but whatever. 14 classes in total, so the previous roster of PSO + the two new classes. Mags are back, as are Rappies.
