just finished season 4.... oooh shit "God has left the building"
concerning the finale i knew ruby was playing that fool. and angels being corporate douchebags = awesome. the scene at the end where sam killed lillith was really intense too
pretty crazy story arc over the entire series thusfar. the progression has me amazed, it seems like the writers really had this planned out from the beginning. i think i still like the monster/ghost stuff more than the angel/demon stuff (even though the shows take on heaven/hell is really intriguing)
Edit: BTW, S4 looks really good on Blu. The DVDs so far have been pretty dark with some artifacting. The S4 blu was clear and the blacks really stand out

Kripke had a 5 season arc planned from the beginning. He's stepping down as the show runner after this season now that his plan is being finished.

Well, the end of Kripke's originally planned 5 year arc came to an end today and I liked it.
It wasn't action packed like the midseason break episode one, but I felt it was a fitting closer. I could see how it would be a great way to end the series. The lost creators should take note.
I'm a bit nervous about the coming year though, while I'm sure they'll make some good single episodes, I don't know how the overall arc for the season will turn out.
