  1. I didn't really like the ending. It wasn't definitive enough. So I guess Carter is God? Why the hell is Sam out of the box? Is he Sam or Satan? I know they have to make another season now, but I wanted a tidy end to THIS story, and I don't feel like we got it.

  2. Oh I think it was definitive enough, it finalized everything that needed to be finished.

    As for your comments: God doesn't care and doesn't want to get involved anymore remember, Carter isn't God

    And about Sam being out. I have a feeling that was something tacked on when they decided that there was going to be a 6th season, it doesn't fit right into it being a proper ending I agree

  3. I'm just going to pretend that everything after the flickering street lamp didn't happen and not watch next year, because the story I wanted to see finished was finished and anything more just seems like a hokey tack-on since it does so well in the ratings

    I still think the following season(s) should have been set in the wild west when Sam Colt made the gun that kills demons, since that's a story they've hardly touched on and could integrate pretty well into the scenario of the heaven/hell battle of the last 2-3 seasons

  4. Yep, as I said that shot seemed incredibly out of place and tacked on for a "we'll back next season" feel.

    Other than that though, I feel it was a perfect ending for the show.

  5. Pretty good ending with the same complaints as you guys. I just hope they get back to hunting monsters and demons in the next season.

  6. Agreed. The last scenes really felt like they were added late in the season when the news of another season surfaced. Also, while I am happy to see Bobby and Cas back, one of them (Bobby I say) should have stayed dead.

    My wife read that it's going to be a lot more like season 1, where each episode stands on its own but there is an overall story arc. So that would point to more monster hunting, which I like as well. I still have a concern that this extension is going to take it the way of X-Files season 9, but at least there is no Agent Doggett.

  8. It's way too premature to judge next season. So long as they keep this story arch caput it could be just as awesome. Helluva show.
