I'm not very hyped up on the art style at all. I'll probably pass until somebody shows it to me.
So G4 is now showing Spaceballs the Animated series, and it seems Mel Brooks was pretty heavily involved in the show's development.
I've watched the first three episdodes so far. 1 and 2 are pretty meh, but Episode 3 with it's Tron and Videogame references was pretty damn funny. It's the only ep I would recommend watching so far.
So anyone else catch this?

Mel Brooks: WTF. What the hell happened to that guy? How can Woody Allen keep making great movies, and Mel Brooks can't?
Mel Brooks made, probably, 2 or 3 of the top ten funniest movies of the 70's. He started to slide, just a bit, through the 80s. Then in the 90s it was Robin Hood: Men In Tights. Now...I mean, Spaceballs the animated series?
I will say, I watched the 3rd episode on your reccomendation and I thought it was pretty good and funny. I'll take your word that the others suck though, and I wont waste my time with them.
Yeah, Brooks really went on a downturn starting in the early 80s. I guess the shows not the worst thing ever, it's just nowhere near what I'd like to see from Mel Brooks.
It's better than Dracula Dead and Loving It at least.

So this finally came out? I can remember hearing about it being in development years ago.
I have a feeling that it was made years ago but no one picked it up because it sucks and now G4 decided to pick it up because they suck.
