The fans were all class for Brodeur. Good for him. I think he loves that city and deserved the applauses - clearly the fans were proud of him, too. And if anyone uses the "post lockout won/loss system" as some sort of asterisk for Brodeur's record then it should be pointed out that Roy didn't have to deal with an entire season being lost to the same lockout. It's Brodeur's all the way.

Brodeur needs 27 more non-shootout wins to pass him anyway, so he'd get that next year regardless.
Also, Mike Richards is by far my favorite Flyer ever. I would kill to have that guy in NJ.

I asked a while back how good the Flyers would be if they were called for more than half the penalties they commit. Today I saw my answer: Not very.

The Rangers just got their 4th goal on the fourth penalty that they have gotten away with today. And one of them should have been a double.

Oh please. Quit being a whiner. Did Girardi deserve SEVENTEEN minutes for fighting? :P

Devils' magic number for clinching division is 19.
Devils' magic number for clinching a playoff spot is 11.
If we own the tiebreakers...which I think we do.

They have the wins tie breaker against the whole league, since they aren't where they are due to loser points like some teams.

And thanks to the Bruins choking against the Penguins, the Devils now control their destiny for the #1 seed.

Is it the Bruins choking or the Penguins coming on ?

The Bruins are falling apart. So is Montreal. Hopefully the Rangers remember this on Tuesday.
