That's the second time I've had to watch NJ give up 20 shots in a period, at least this time I wasn't at the game.

Langs gets a gift. Salmela starts it. I'm glad Salmela got back in the nhl. Ugh it drives me crazy that we don't get more of those, but the team can't ever shoot the puck like that, in the right spot for a rebound.
Zajac is so much better than last year.

Anyway one thing that has been terrible by all players on this team all year has been passing. Almost every player on the team doesn't pass to other players, they pass into a general area and hope the other player handles it. It's really abysmal.
There will be no free Brodeur points this year. This season went to such shit so quickly, and it started so well.

I'm also glad the Devils gave Zherdev those points after I booted him off my fantasy team. 4 goal night for me so far though, 2 from my defense which is finally healthy.
Vinny Lecavalier is really the only one I've been disappointed by so far. He's played so well for so long no matter which players have been around him, and his line is still fairly intact, so I'll be really surprised if he has a down year.
Semin is DISGUSTING. 2 goals 3 assists tonight.
Boy, you guys (particularly you, cow) are in for a few seasons of tough love when Marty is gone. Nothing will test your patience as a fan as much as slogging through mediocre seasons on the brink of elimination with no hope of real success. If the Devils don't find a new Marty, I think you're going to be in for a bumpy ride for a while. I've been there.
