No, I know that. When you can't lift your arms for 3 days, and you were not in any pain while working out, that's too much.

I bet Netwurked could still rock floor hockey if he wanted. One minute shifts imo.

I've taken long breaks from working out and every single time I restarted the exact same thing happened to me, so I don't think there's anything weird about it unless it kept happening after each subsequent workout.

  4. I'm in alot better shape in my 30's than in my 20's. Looking back, I can't believe the drugs I ingested. I made it unscathed, but I was kinda silly at times Only negative is that injuries take a little bit longer to heal as said earlier in this thread. Also, if you're smoking in your 30s QUIT NOW ! You'll feel so much better.

As much as you don't want to admit that smoking is adversely affecting you, I guarantee your recovery time would be much improved if you gave that shit up and I'm speaking from experience.

You're nearing the point where either you make the change and it's positive or you don't and it's too late. Smokers age VERY fast after 40.

Yeah, tried that, but it f's everything up when you have no subs, the lines get all screwy. I'll stick to softball, I can still hit homers.

I admit that it adversely effects me. It's killed endurance running (Remember that dude that got a yellow card for smoking in Shaolin Soccer...) and it does lower the immune system. Then again, it's not like I've been smoking for 20 years.

I have neither the will nor the desire to quit right now. Perhaps some introspection and a let's quit smoking by x date is in order.

    Use www.quitnet.com and Chantax.

If I can do it, so can you... unless you're some kind of weakling pussy. Oh, cigarettes are stronger than I am... wah wah.
