Thread: Just my opinions

  1. Wow.

PS2- I got mine in a trade two months after launch. In all, I paid $80 for it, so my expectations weren't that high. none of that "I paid a shitload for you, so get crackin'" attitude here. I like the system a lot, but the lineup is hit and miss for me. I am also starting to notice a growing difference in graphical power between the PS2 and the other two systems. A year and a a half after launch, I'm still waiting for something that looks as good as Halo or DOA3. But, being the mainstream's console, it'll get the most games, so it's a must have. The lowered price is even more reason to buy one.

Xbox- My favorite of the three right now. Why? Well, I'm one of those "Sega whores" people mention. I love Sega's games, so sue me. Naturally, the system with JSRF Gun Valkyrie, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Crazy Taxi 3, TJ&E3, and HOTD 3 is going to have my business. Throw in gems like Halo, DOA 3, Enclave, Ninja Gaiden, Splinter Cell, Blinx, Project Gotham, and a host of others, and you'll see why I love my 'box.

Game Cube- Hmm... I bought it at launch, played through RL, SMB, and Luigi, and then my cube collected dust until April 30. not a good start. However, Mario, ED, Star fox, Zelda, and Metroid will probably make my GC the most played system from now until Christmas at the least.

I have all three systems and I like them all . I guess, my sig says it all though...

  2. I agree with the GTA3 loading times, it's not bad at all. But, anyone see Crash Bandicoot? WOW! Who programmed that test of endurance? Loading is insanly long. I hear Stuntman has some pretty bad loading too (and Max Payne was a test too).

    To join the thread:

PS2: I love it and I hate it. I think it gets more credit than it's due. It's host to some great games, and some equally crappy ones.

GC: I love it, but I wish I had more to play. Some great stuff is coming, but it's months away. And I love my wavebird btw.

Xbox: If I had the money I would probably buy one. There are a few games I'd like to play, but nothing that screams oout to me to get my ass to the store and get one. I have some respect for it.

Side note: Is it me or are we going in circles with these threads? Didn't we do this a few days ago?
