I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
hahaha, the first link lead to the same countdown, and it was obviously on official capcom URL
the second was a random waterballoon flash game that had nothing to do with MvC2, so im almost wondering if they were gonna pull a joke on us before finally telling us the game is coming.

This was brought up last year in the MvC2 rumor thread on SRK. Yeah, Sentinel is large, but the guy has amazing advantages over the rest of the cast with his fast flight speed and unblockable laser. Getting rid of his chipped normals would be akin to removing Balrog's safe jab headbutt in STHD. It's a slight nerf, but it doesn't reduce his effectiveness to dominate in the game. Granted, I say this with the caveat that any changes should be playtested to death before implemented in the remixed mode.
Best solution would be to include backgrounds and music from the previous Vs. and Alpha games for each character. New characters such as Amingo and Ruby Heart should still have the 3D MvC2 stages, but everyone who existed in a prior game will have their best background as an option in Stage Select.
Actually, all the crazy stuff that made Marvel vs Capcom 2 crazy should stay in the remixed mode. Infinites would stay (since they're great for punishing assist abuses) and the top-tier list of characters should remain the same while receiving a few Balrog edits like the ones listed in the link I provided.
Besides fixing the glitches, the main thing would be to tweak some of the lower-tier characters so that they have a chance against the top-tier characters. Make Dark Sakura's transformation cost 1 bar instead of 3 (or even have her start out as Dark Sakura). Give Zangief some Iron Zangief properties without having to transform. Get rid of the two Wolverines and just have one good version of Wolverine that plays like his MSH or XvSF counterpart. Give Strider better assists. Instead of keeping Juggernaut's Power-up glitch, either give him the power from the onset or change him so that he doesn't need to rely on it.
Anyway, it's all moot. The game will probably be out in time for the 2009 Evo tournament, and unless people have been working on it for quite some time, all we'll seeing is a straight port. I do hope that Capcom implements GGPO netcode for this game.

I don't get it.
Take U 4 A Ride.

OH

That's dumb.
On a related note:
My old high school buddy and I played this game at tournament level in Chinatown. Because he was older, he got out early. He was pretty dirt broke since he didn't want a job so all he could afford to pass the time while he waited for me was a Walkman. He dubbed a 60 minute tape with nothing but this song. He listened to the tape all the time.
I don't understand why he did it.
