    Yeah it wasn't just the poor that feels disenfranchised. Middle-class and well-off Americans supported Trump. I actually believe this is the silent riot that bolstered him to the win. These are the people probably shamed by their beliefs... so they hide them. Nobody wants to deal with being persecuted.

    Read this in April and read it again and it's more true now than it was when published. The bottom line is that liberals need to understand that elections are about getting people to vote for you, not about making yourself superior to everyone.

    Sam Bee, Daily Show, Current Year, Bill Maher, Slate, Gawker, all that stuff... it just bit them in the ass this year.

  10. I am utterly convinced now that that was the case - the clinton campaign ignoring WI was a huge blow. The liberals, proud of their minority status, forgot that a minority (in the minority/majority sense - not poc) cannot win an election. They must at least convert some of the majority.
