  8. I think I may take in an Up/Drag Me To Hell double feature on Sunday.

    Maybe

  9. The best thing of Up was that fucking sense of scope that Lasseter was saying Miyazaki had. Pixar just proved its biscuits by giving Up the grandest sense of scale evar.

Maaaaaaaan. REEL SPOILER MAYBEi loved how heavy the house became as the film progressed, it went from a wonderful dream that carried Carl along to a burden that he refused to let go.

Oh gad, i look forward to seeing that movie again.

  10. Saw this earlier today in 3D.

3D took some getting used to, and while it was cool, it added absolutely nothing to the film and I would have been fine seeing it in a regular theater.

And this movie was great. Don't expect Wall-E, but do expect having a good time. I really enjoyed Dug and Kevin. Alpha's munchkin voice was hysterical. The old men fighting was awesome. The dogfighters (hurr hurr, get it?) were a little much, but everything else was simply FUN. I nearly welled up when Carl gave Russell the Ellie badge.
