You know, I was actually never a huge fan of their earlier work, which still seemed obsessed with sassy anthropomorphisms and other merchandising-friendly banalities that I hate in all the other CG cartoons out there.
But starting with The Incredibles, they seem to have gotten a lot more creative and the credibility they had already earned with the public helped give them the freedom to take more risks, and now I really like what they've been doing.
Personally not a fan of cars. I am really looking forward to this though.
Cars was horrible, anyone who says otherwise is wrong.

Cars didn't suck, except in comparison to the rest of Pixar's output. Monsters Inc and Cars are Pixar's worst movies, and no other studio out there can say that their worst is as good as forgettably mediocre.
Up looks good, though. Maybe not Wall-E good, as has been mentioned, but still tons of fun. I love grumpy bastard humor.
