I haven't seen this movie mentioned anywhere in the forums and wanted to make a quick thread about it just in case any WNYers (TNL seems to house many of us) were interested. It was filmed here in Buffalo and tomorrow night is the last theater showings downtown. I haven't seen it, so I don't have much else to say yet, but I am going tonight.

I saw it last year and loved it. I thought that the production value was much higher than that of most Troma films (I actually forgot I was watching a Troma film thru part of it). Sure there are moments in it that you know you are watching a Troma film but there really aren't that many.
When I brought Lloyd in town to shoot a scene for our film in May he asked me if I had a bootleg copy yet and gave me one. Seems the financers had relatives in China and they made a bunch of copies and when trying to sell them said that it was directed by Martin Scorcese and starring a bunch of big names that aren't in the movie.
This was wonderful. The comedy/musical build up to the zombie part of the film was like South Park; wickedly profane but hiding a good heart. And the zombie part was stupid, but with some great visual puns. I maybe would have liked it if the zombies started earlier and the musical lasted longer. Basically for a zombie musical number.
