It's time for virtual reality to make a comeback. Seriously. We messed around with that shit when it meant 15 pounds of hardware on your head and Star Fox 1 graphics. I bet we could do some crazy shit now.

There were some good ideas in the book "Spook Country" about using a combination of VR and GPS as a sort of "augmented reality" kind of thing. But, that's getting away from the point of the article.
