This is out in New York? Shit, I'll totally go see it before the get together tomorrow then. Any other TNLers want to tag along?
This was really good. It feel a little short of real tear-jerker, but it felt like a really honest portrayal of a business that just uses people up and spits them out. The ending seemed to sleave some people in the theater a little disappointed but I found it kind of perfect. The abrupt cut to black is somewhat ambiguous, but I think the implication of his death is clear enough, and the film is trying to, despite that, end on a high note just as he himself was trying to do.
