Finch hates nothing good and pure. Toy Story is not good and pure because it has too much reliance on people liking it so Pixar could make more films. Bug's Life was the first thing that Pixar made that was good and pure.
Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, and Nightmare Before Christmas were all good and pure.

Whoa. So much hate for Burton and Danny Elfman. Elfman is still one of my fav composers in Hollywood. And Charlie's Chocolate Fag Factory did suck hard, but Sweeney Todd was great.

So fucking true. Throw some swirly trees and some swirly gates and some swirly eaves and chimneys on all the houses and you've got another all original Tim Burton masterpiece. Tim Burton sucks now, and his never ending hardon for Johnny Depp is just getting old. Ed Wood was the last good movie they made together.

I like Tim Burton, but he's trying too hard to be Tim Burton these days. I think he could make a great Alice in Wonderland movie, but that picture says to me that he's pandering to the hot topic crowd again. We need the Tim Burton that made Pee Wee's Big Adventure for this one.
