Eh. Worth a shot I guess. They were talking about doing an adult swim show even before they released the movie, I was pretty convinced that it was one of those things that would never, ever happen

I don't know if I'm a big fan of the "live action comedy into animated series" progression; I can't think of m/any examples where that's worked all that well. There's this nasty tendency where it sucks out whatever made it good in the first place.

The Black Dynamite credits were really great, but I don't know if a series is called for, exactly? Even if they get some good gags in, the dead air in these shows is murder.

Saw it twice. Not as entertaining the second time around, but the "Haha! I threw that shit before I walked in the room!" line still made me laugh my fucking ass off.

Not excited about the cartoon or the comic book. I love the movie more than words can convey, but I really feel that they totally blew their wad on it and then some. There's just nothing left to go back to.
