So, at worst, half the Star Wars movies are better than any Star Trek ever.

First Contact >>> entire new trilogy and Clone Wars, but yeah, the original trilogy is still awesome.

At least ST has been consistent. SW fans have had to watch the franchise slowly rot as Lucas goes insane with old age.

I tend to hate sci-fi stuff (never even saw all the original Star Wars movies, nor any full ep. or movie of Trek to speak of) and Firefly is amazing. Really need to buy that sometime.

This coming from a Star Trek fan. Firefly was better than every Star Trek series, and Serenity was better than every movie to boot.

I was stating that nerds overhype almost anything that is sci-fi. That includes Firefly (which I've never seen, though I hate Joss Whedon) and Serenity (which is pretty good, but not great).

I gave my old DS to my nephew, since his mom couldn't afford a new one, and my girl got me a DS Lite for Christmas! She also got me the movies and Nights. The DS games I mostly picked up on ridiculous sales on the net, and Geen sent me a copy of the fabulous ~ Drill Dozer ~ since my Target ran out of them. Oh yeah, and Suikoden V was 4 bucks, the store was clearing out PS2 games.

I've never met a nerd that actually liked the scifi channel. Most tolerate it for 1 or 2 shows and hate the rest of the programming.
