It had good effects work, but wasn't That Good. The entire movie grinds to a halt when there's no special effects going on.

I feel like Wall-E should have the Ben Button spot. Animated Feature just puts 'em in the ghetto, anne frankly I think that's an injustice.

For best feature? Easily. I really don't get why Ben Button is getting so much attention. There wasn't anything spectacularly amazing about it.

I'm also a bit surprised Bolt got a nod for best Animated feature. Don't get me wrong I really liked Bolt, but I don't know I think I would have given the nod to Horton instead. I really hate how the academy decides things, its like ohh you had 15 animated features released so you only get 3 nominations if you just had 1 more then you could have had 5. I think as long as you have double digit releases you should get 5 nominations.

The animated feature category is always a joke. There aren't enough feature animated movies worth their snuff released ina year to make it interesting. If Wall-E doesn't win that the world will cave in on itself.

Maybe you don't have enough culture to see them all. There were about 50 animated films this year of exceptional quality. That The Five Maids of Buttress Island and In Loving Memory of Kitty Bookins were not even mentioned is a tragedy.
