  1. I shouldn't have done it, in retrospect. Sleeve would NEVER do it.

Rage got a new patch today, adding a bunch of stuff including GameCenter support. On the down side, my space issue just increased by its 745 MB.

A real Dead Space is coming to iOS.

I hate the idea of these separate iPhone/iPod and iPad releases. That has to irritate the shit out of you guys that have both.

    It does.

  7. I refuse to pay for games that have two separate versions. Charge me more, but make that shit universal.

In other news, buying Dead Rising for $2 was the worst mistake I've made this month in buying a whole mess of cheap games. The level of suck just can't be communicated in words or videos. It is total garbage.

I'll always buy the iPhone version over the iPad, too.

Anyone picked up Perfect Cell by Mobigame (Edge, Cross Fingers). It's outstanding. Similar to Shadow Complex (but not).

Perfect Cell is now on my ridiculously long watch list on BargainBin. You know there's too many great sales when a $5.99 game has to wait because it's regular price.

  10. Speaking of Bargain Bin, I've been using TouchArcade's AppShopper for a month or so, and it's the best of the lot. It'll let you filter on category, price, device and what activity (update, price change, new release). Has full activity history for every app as well. Really simple "Want It" "Own It" system for watching apps.

What I like though is that you can view either the popular feed, or the raw full feed - I've found a few gems just watching the new stuff flow into the store. There's also a nice website that you can access your account from, with customizable RSS feeds and shit. Free, universal app.
