Just got back from it. Pretty good stuff. The rednecks in my theatre just ate up that over-the-top racism.
I agree it seemed forced in parts, but very good overall.
The writer is from my state, MN, and the kid who played Tao goes to the HS I graduated from.

I caught a little bit of the confessional scene last night while at work. It didn't do all that great yesterday here but we did open Not Easily Broken which killed everything, except The Unborn which it barely beat. It's all about demographics.
Saw it last night. The only complaint I have is some of the acting was hideous at times, but overall it was a great movie. I saw the ending coming, but it was about the only way it could end and make sense.
Concerning the ending scenes I didn't understand why the family looked so shocked when they didn't get anything from the will. It was pretty well established that Clint didn't like them and vice versa, so why the look of shock when Toad got the car?
The over the top racism was funny, even the minorities in the audience were laughing at it.
So, how is this compared to Falling Down?
