Variety reported last week that Jessica Biel of 7th Heaven fame will star in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake that will be distributed by New Line Cinema.

Never understood what is soo good in this series. Never found it scary, Part 2 had some nice fx and gore, plus weird performance by Dennis Hopper but thats it.
And now remake it into Scream wanna be.

Will they say this will be more disturbing than the first. We shall see. This remake is set for a October release. I like Leatherface as a Horror icon.

bleh, I agree. Either you get or you dont get the first movie. But I love it, and in no way can a remake come close to matching the original. It is toooo perfect.
