Fuck studios having to be all cute with release dates. This shit looks done, that was hardly a teaser. Yet, we have to wait 9 months before its out.

What you saw was about 1 1/2 minutes of possibly finished shots. There's probably at least another 89 minutes worth that have to be done.

I really wish I could find out which animation studio was doing this. I can't find jack shit about the actual production though.

Here's a solid interview with Acker. According to it Attitude Studios is doing the animation. They also did Renaissance, which was a really awesome looking movie. This is good news as far as I'm concerned.

Awesome find Brand X, but fuck they're in France. The French do some really good animation work, just means I have no chance of applying there.

I thought the short was great. I look forward to seeing how the movie turns out, although I'm going to do my best not to compare it to the original while watching it.
