I've been wanting to see it but I've had no free time the last month or two so haven't had a chance yet.
Wow the only person to answer my inquiry has me on ignore for posting the above picture so many times. PARADOX

Kinda' sucked. Visuals are above average but can't save it.
It's one big chase scene with a retarded plot point reveal at the end. It really feels like a 2 hour video game cut scene, and not just because it was rendered in 3d.
It wasn't bad. I didn't feel I was very invested in the characters and the losses like in Wall-E, but it was a decent movie to sit through. Character designs were incredible.
The great parts were the visuals, the style, a bit of innovation in the action department, but a really, really abysmal plot and storyline.
Sorry to bump an old thread, but I had forgotten about this movie, and it was on On-Demand. I was in an apocalyptic kind of mood, and after watching Terminator Salvation and District 9, I caught this. Wow. The only bad thing I can say about this movie is that it's brown, the aesthetic is kind of (Insert Brown FPS Here) meets Sackboy. However, I thought the storyline was clever, the characters were likeable, and I can't lie, I thought the Nazi symbolism was used to good effect. All in all, a damn good film.
... I find a pleasant irony in the fact that a movie that looks and moves like a game didn't get a game tie in. I'm glad.

I love how this movie looks. The aesthetic of a war torn Europe with that industrial feel to everything. Sure there's a lot of brown, but the lighting work is really fantastic. The character design is really cool too.
I liked the movie, the look was really cool. My only complaint is that it felt like something was missing. I really wish I could put my finger on it, but I just can't. I can say its something story line wise but I'm just not sure what.
Would have been nice to have one single character worth a shit, but I like how it looked. Reminded me of drawings I used to make back in high school!
