TNL Movie Club: Koyaanisqatsi (1983)

Koyaanisqatsi is an interesting movie. It's a movie that has no discernible plot and no dialogue. It is comprised of time lapse footage and scenery set to really awesome synth style music. I was blown away the first time I saw it and it is one of the only movies I rewatched immediately afterward. This movie is part of a trilogy but skip the next two movies they pretty much suck.

Nice pick! The next 2 didnt even come close. Cant wait til they release this on blu

If you like this you should definitely check out Baraka. Esp if you have a blu-ray player, Its pretty damn amazing, and probably the best transfer thus far to high def.

Chronos is also cool, but is more nature and architecture without people

I have Baraka on blu-ray and it is amazing. It has the best picture quality I have seen yet.
