The most striking thing about X7 is the fact that the game is in 3D, a first for this particular subseries. Much like Namco's Klonoa series, the game will be on "rails," pushing the player along a single path through a 3D environment. Players can toggle through three different camera angles during play.

Interestingly, a two-player option will be included that enables both Mega Man and Zero to appear onscreen simultaneously. If for some reason you're unable to locate a friend with which to team up, the single player mode allows for on-the-fly character switching.

Now that very good news!Capcom give the face-lift the serie needed without going "castlevania 64" on us(it was a good gothic game but didn't have the castlevania feel).

I can't wait to play co-op with this baby...

Honeslty, I'm completely unimpressed. I don't like what I;ve seen so far, not at all.

This is coming from a person that loves everything MegaMan, including Legends and .EXE. That footage just leaves a real bad taste in my mouth.

3D purely for the sake of not being 2D is never a good thing. It ends up being needlessly ugly and adds nothing.

I seen the video the other day. I honestly think at this point it looks like shit. The 1st X game looked better. This game does have potential though. 2 player co-op does sound like a cool feature.

Well,it's not like we have a choice(other than not buying-it)and all popular game series take the 3d road so all we have to do is hope for the best.

But don't forget,we talking Capcom here,they got a good record with 3d game(if you forgetting street-fighter ex).I'm all for an another klonoa clone so..go for it capcom!

You just said what our choice is, so we do have one. Chibi Nappa = guy not buying MMX7.

Does Capcom honestly think that "3D" will bring in the non-Mega Man fans in droves? I hope that move brings at least 1 of em' in, because it drove at least 1 previous fan out.

I pretty much agree with Chibi Nappa. Sure, it's good to hear the game will be like Klonoa rather than free roaming, but why make it 3D at all then? I'll still try it and I'm a lot happier that it is going to at least play somewhat similar to previous games, but I have to admit it looks rather lame judging from the videos I've seen. I'll keep my mouth shut until it comes out though.

I actually think this is a good idea because Capcom is trying something slightly different for a change. Who knows, it could rock.
