It's probably slippery slope bullshit: If you defend even ink pedophilia, you are a pedo yourself. Go to Gitmo, do not pass go.

  3. The thing with links to stuff claiming to be clear child porn I think is similar to someone pretending to be a prostitute or posing as a child online. I have no problem with that.

Busting a guy for shit he doesn't have any more from a search with no questionable terms in it is pretty retarded though. That guy needs a better lawyer if he pleads guilty to that shit.

I was sarcastic as well as citing an actual thread of thought in American politics. Also: dumb feminists. But them's the justifications. Remember those justifications and laws survive from the original era they were written in unless over turned on constitutional grounds, repealed, get ignored by the executive for better things to do, modified by the courts (rare) or are jury nullified so often they don't bother prosecuting it anymore (doesn't happen).

I do, what if it was relinked from another site and billed as something innocuous like a Red Sox hate forum, then all the Yankees fans would be in prison. There's a lot of room here for shit to go wrong, and as a tactic, that's just the govt. being lazy. Rather than going after the child pornographers, they're hunting down people who may enjoy looking at a naked kid or two, sounds like a good plan, but there's an endless suply of them, not so many people, however are hosting or producing the stuff. It's similar to putting any of the millions of junkies in jail, and leaving the dealers on the streets, it get's nothing accomplished but make prisons rich.

That we agree on, this is stupid, there needs to be a statute of limitation set here, at least, because again, it could have been called anything when he downloaded it. Also, not reporting a crime in itself is not a crime, so they can't hold not reporting it to you. Isn't there something in the constitution about self incrimination?

  8. I wish all this shit had gone down when I was 23. Fighting cka would've been like a miniboss compared to the FBI.

wait, you wish the FBI would hunt you down and press charges for all the crap in your temp folder?

    what?

  10. There's no way this guy got hit for having downloaded a mislabeled video two years ago. The cops were there for something else and this was all they could scrape against him, or something else isn't being told in this story.
