... but I got married!



After four and a half years of being together, my girlfriend and I decided to tie the knot. We had the wedding in Vietnam because that's where most of our family and relatives are; my grandparents especially wanted to see their oldest grandchild wed before they go.

As always, there was some drama with my family, especially my dad, who had always opposed my relationship and said that he would show up but didn't want to be introduced as the father of the groom otherwise he'd walk out. But when it came time to introduce the bride and groom's parents, without notice my dad walked up and stood next to my mom. Either someone talked him into it or he had a change of her. Either way, it was nice to have him up there.
