Nor is this Depression either. The Great Depression part 1 had no precedent, sure. But all of FDR's policies are in place and/or have been improved upon. So, this shouldn't have happened. The bailout is only making this worse and the confidence in the US Markets are faltering because of it. Thereby drastically making the situation worse than it is. We should never have bailed out any company to begin with.

The government needs to keep their money out of this. They can try and plug up all the holes with fake money but when the next wave comes by, it could collapse the entire dam. It's so like the American people to cry and complain about the government and then all of a sudden, when they panic, because people in this country are incapable of dealing with difficult situations, they want the government to solve the problem.

The economy will right itself eventually, just because we all can't buy whatever the fuck we want doesn't mean that we're all going to wither up and die. Quick solution may bring back quick gains but it's going to hurt in the long run.
