Eastwood.
Two great movies that taste great together. Which one is the greatest and why?

Eastwood.
There was a time that I would have said TGTBATU without hesitation, but Once Upon a Time is really growing on me.
Once Upon a Time has a lot more ambiguity. Even Henry Fonda, one of the most evil characters ever to appear in a Western, has some depth. Jason Robards is amazing, and Charles Bronson (in the role originally written for Clint Eastwood) is pretty good, too.
...oh, and it's Once Upon a Time in the West. I fixed your poll.

huh huh sleeve touched my poll.
I voted GBU, but now that I actually think about, it is a tough call. I think for me, I like GBU better bacause of it being based on Yojimbo. But it goes without saying that OUATITW is an amazing movie as well.
I would say if I had to choose a single actor, Eastwood wins. But pitting the casts of each against each other, they're nearly equal in my opinion.
My favorite quote from my favorite western:
Harmonica: I saw three of these dusters a short time ago, they were waiting for a train. Inside the dusters, there were three men.
Cheyenne: So?
Harmonica: Inside the men, there were three bullets.
Once Upon a Time.
Honestly, I think I need to see both again to say for sure, but I think Once Upon A Time, like sleeve said, has more depth and rich characters. And it has some pretty bad ass moments.
As for GBU, I honestly like For A Few Dollars More than the third one. It's a great movie too, but something about doesn't really stick with me.
But again, I need to see both again to say definitively.

Didn't one of the actors from the opening scene kill himself while in costume?
