It doesn't matter, because the Soccer Moms and rookie/casual gamers who are the majority of owners of the Wii don't have any taste, so they don't know what they're missing. What ever happened to the "Nintendo Seal of Quality?"
Carnival Games is quality and the fact that over 2 million people bought it proves me right
I think this guy is talking about the REALLY bad games, like the 80% of the titles out there. Destineer is a company that releases them. They were much more common in Europe than the US with the PS2, but not so with Wii.
Anyway, I can't think of a relevent (and by relevant I mean any system that sold any units at all, so we discount things like the Nuon) system with such a horendous lineup.

You don't have to be smart; you don't have to know the facts, you just have to be confident.

The problem with a game like Boom Blox is that there's no way to pick it out of the Wii's lineup if you're just a parent going to the gaming aisle for the first time all year, looking for a birthday present. There's no way for it to stand out at all, and that would be true even if the Wii wasn't choking on crap.
After several months of nothing I've got three must-buy games on the way and a few I'm keeping an eye on, all being released in the next two months, but how do these games get attention? Sure, something like the Milestone package Ultimate Shooting Collection (horrible name, by the way) only appeals to a limited number of people, but how on earth will anyone know that Marble Saga Kororinpa is roughly one billion times better than Totally Spies: Totally Party? Mad World might manage to stand out just by its art, and Tenchu has a long-running license to fall back on, but what if Deadly Creatures turns out to be good? It's sitting right beside Escape the Museum (a hidden objects "game") and has a spider on the cover. The uninformed buyer is going to grab the box that has a tyrannosaur skeleton on it.
Too much clutter isn't good for anybody, and Nintendo only cares about their own bottom line. If I was a publisher, I'd probably spend most of my money on marketing any Wii title over development. An adequate game that makes a comfortable profit beats an incredible game that bombs, assuming you want to be able to afford the payroll.
-edit- I hope the Ultimate Shooting Collecion wasn't translated by UFO's web text guy-
The entire page reads like it was written by Skwisgaar and Toki. Each titles has great graphics that makes good use of the cell-shaded look,
