Most Wanted is Criterion? Oh shit, must buy!
Most Wanted sounds amazing - Criterion claims it is exactly the same game as the other versions. High scores (aka "Autolog") also are shared across versions.
Like I said in another thread, we are at the point where this is possible and the future of portable gaming is Tiny Tower. Depressing.

Crossbuy serves at least one interesting purpose -- it gives them a big advantage for multiplatform games that implement it, in the instance where someone owns both platforms and a Vita. Granted, that's probably a pretty small market... but I know if EA doess Crossbuy with NFS:MW, I would switch from getting the X360 version to the PS3 version without thinking twice.
It's also a good mind worm for PS3 owners, who are going to start seeing their own Vita library almost by accident, and then they'll start getting more and more PS3 games they could play wherever (right down to the saves carrying over) once they buy a Vita. Kind of a weird way to sell a portable console, though....
Crossbuy is almost the only way for me to get PS3 multiplats. I just don't think most publishers are going to go for it (or maybe they'll do a voucher for 25-30 dollars off the DD Vita version with an expiration date a few months after game launch). I'd probably go for a 15 dollar MW. But then I could see these getting resold en masse online. Most people don't have and won't get Vitas period, whether they have a PS3 or not.
Maybe they can tie it to your PSN ID.

It's a good way to get digital versions at retail sale prices, or so I would imagine.
Sony says no price cut by Christmas, will go for add-ons/bundles instead: http://kotaku.com/5935348/dont-expec...-cut-this-year
That shouldn't really come as a surprise, given the relative power and price points of the Vita and the 3DS XL. I'm heavily leaning toward using credit card points to get one soon.
That does suck. SNK should adopt Crossbuy or offer the two versions together as a bundle for a reduced price.
For $12, I bought the disc version of SNK Arcade Classics 1 which has most (not all) of the same titles and some that aren't on PSN (such as Neo Turf Masters). I came out ahead on that deal, compared to how much I'd have spent on DLC versions of AoF, BS2, FF1, ML, Slug 1, SS, KoF 94, and WH together.
I'll go to PSN for Arcade Classics 0- while the UMD goes for around $60 now, the individual titles in that one are all on PSN as Minis. Getting all 19 games would come out to $57 but not all in one shot- and there are a few I'll pass on, like Ikari III (it's not a real Ikari without the guns- I'll take Guerrilla War instead).
Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)
