It's good to see the Nintendo defense force assemble so quickly. Since the series is awful, I personally don't care, but sales are sales.

The 3DS is mostly shit though, and I cringe when people say that the DS was the best system ever. I kind of like it, as I have this list of people that I can absolutely ignore 100% when it comes to any gaming recommendation.

It wasn't the best system but damn if some talented folks worked wonders with the damn thing.

There were good games to be sure, but if you have "Western" tastes, it was about the worst system this side of the Jaguar. And the best "Japanese-only" genre, the shmup, has almost zero representation.

Based on TNL nonsense, I'm a fanboy of literally every hardware company. I guarantee you can find a post saying as much. Of course, that's idiocy when I try my damnedest to avoid buying games on any of the console makers' hardware whenever possible.

I'll cop to being a fanboy of region free platforms with expandable internal storage and no monopoly chip accessories all day long though. Hopefully someone will get that right again next generation. We already know who didn't.

I'm gonna side with Yoshi on this one. He's trying to make an objective, unbiased argument that the Vita library is comparable to the 3DS library. Not OMG SO MUCH BETTARS and definitely not worse, but that you can hold both up next to each other and debate pros and cons. He's right. If you start bringing personal preferences into this, people will lean one way or the other, but whatever.

That's all fine and good and I'm sure its true (like I said, no Vita). I'm just saying you have to be a damn fool or lying through your teeth to consider LBP on the same level or above SMB, regardless of preference.

MH4 on Vita sounds like a sweet deal too. From a gamer perspective, and a newish MH fan, I'm glad. Get that thing on all the platforms. It may give Sny a shot in the foot in Japan too. Though the chances of it resuscitating the Vita here? Maybe not.

LBP on PS3 is shit. Whoever on TNL I bought this game from sucks. But if the Vita version is better, I could believe it could be better than NSMB2 because that game is wholly mediocre.

And MH is some jank on PSP.

For what it is worth, every review i have seen about vita big planet says it controls much better than the console games.

Only if we were talking about something niche like Japanese shooters. Sure it's flawed, but when you're looking at something as broad as a system's library, it's the most objective thing out there. It doesn't need to be perfect to be directionally correct.
