Playing the full game, where you're mostly running around relatively small indoor areas just like the first one (but with curiously less charm), I feel kind of deceived by Case Zero and its open outdoor environment where you got to climb on buildings and see the desert stretch off to the horizon and shit. Fortune City's layout needs to be turned inside-out, if that makes sense. As it is, it doesn't feel like a city at all, just a mall with the JC Penney's, Dillard's and Macy's replaced with casinos. (And how the hell do the tourists get in and out? The buildings connect to each other and the courtyard, sorry, "strip," but there are no gates to the outside world! Even if they're impenetrably locked down because of the zombie outbreak, they should still exist.)

I do agree that it feels a bit too insular, but there is in fact a big "gate to the outside world" right next to Fortune City Hotel.

I did it after the bank heist event triggered... Got some LMGs from the heist guys, then went and recruited the band playing in Silver Strip and equipped them all with said LMGs. Brought 'em with me to the chef fight and they put him down in about 5 seconds.

I just did this against Slappy the mascot guy. It went pretty well other than Slappy being a little too quick for survivor AI at times and he got me down to almost zero health by spamming his grenade launcher.

He eventually died though. And what happened next? OH THATS RIGHT the survivors saw a zombie in front of us, tried to shoot it and instead shot me in the back and killed me. Ultimate facepalm.

I finally got around to playing Case Zero this weekend and needless to say I'll be grabbing DR2 tomorrow. I forgot what a blast the first one was and the few updates are definitely welcomed. The survivors not being complete douche bags is huge.

The survivors become more varied as you get into the game. You can also go on a number of rooftops, not that it really matters.

I've been trying to beat the two bosses from "The Source" and keep getting killed. I come in with coffee creamers, spiked bats, and Freedom Bear to no avail. Even have the dodge move learned and yet, any time I dodge one girl, the other one is there to stab my face off. Any suggestions?

I used the electric rake. Start mashing X as they approached, and when they went into their attack animation, hopped over a low fence where they couldn't reach me. Paddle-chainsaws probably would have worked better. Still used a decent supply of food. Shame there's no landmine type weapons that I know of.

The Twins, right? There is a shotgun behind the counter in the little area just before you enter the actual club. I made a quikstep (wine+ beer, I think) and just ran around super fast with a pizza in my pocket.

Also, you only have to kill one of them.

I just bought the convertible, and you can drive it into the casino! I didn't think that would work.

I beat the twins pretty easily. I stocked my inventory with food and a defiler. Just keep running until one follows you, if its the one you've chosen to damage, turn around and use the jumping attack into a combo on her, if its the other one, keep running away and jump at the last second to (sometimes) avoid the attack.

And if you run out of health just drink some vodka, not the beer.
