The only issue I've seen is with the sound, which is a bit off in some games, like Beyond Oasis. Visually though, everything else seems fine so far.

Does the Streets of Rage boss theme sound right to you?? Some things do sound a bit off but its been a long time since I played these games.

Beyond Oasis is such a quality game and I would love another but that'll never happen. The collection is well worth it even though there are some clunkers like Fatal Labyrinth, Super Thunderblade, Sonic Spinball, Golden Axe 3 (I would call it a master system game in disguise but thats insulting the SMS)..etc. Would rather have seen other games like Shadowdancer with the arcade version being unlockable and maybe the arcade Thunderblade as an unlockable after being tortured by the genesis version.

Some of the sound distortion is really painful. I had to stop playing Streets of Rage 3 because of it. Couldn't listen to custom soundtrack either because doing that shuts off the music and sound effects, while you can't adjust the sound for individual games like you can with he visuals. Though it's Backbone, so it's enough of a surprise all the games work.

Space Harrier is totally fucked up. The sound is busted (both music and voices) and Harrier centers himself when you let go of the dpad. awful

woah, lots of love for Mean Bean? I just dont like puzzle games, so calm the fuck down. I got the Columns achievement since it was easy, but I'm not going to finish Mean Bean.

I thought there was something off about the controls compared to the last time I played it. Gah, there are so many lazy flaws in this collection if it wasn't cheap it'd be embarrassing.

I don't think it did, but most of my experience was with the PC version, which didn't auto center.

Did the original arcade version auto center?

It had a large spring-loaded stick, so if you let go of the stick, it centers, but that doesn't translate well to digital control, and there's absolutely no version they needed to have it work like that based on anything in the original. You can set it up in MAME with or without auto-center.
