I sometimes read the local newspaper. Sometimes. Besides that I don't read/listen to the news. I'm out of the loop most of the times.
Asking because I'm interested in changing up how I'm getting my news lately.
Most of my news seems to come from NPR broadcasts on the drive to/from work. I tend to read The Boston Globe online, but damn if they don't have an ugly site.
I'm subscribed to the NY Times Front Page and BBC Global News Highlights podcasts, they usually do pretty well as far as 'just the facts'.
As far as straight-up partisan stuff, I used to check Drudge Report almost daily, but that got replaced by Huffington Post right around the time he basically pulled a Dennis Miller.
What do you guys do for news? I know a lot of folks like to set up RSS readers nowadays, what's the best way to go for that?

Informative!
You touch yourself when you read the news.
Only when looking at pictures of accidents or birth announcements.
When I'm in the car I pretty much listen to 1010 WINS. 24 Hour AM news network in the NY/NJ area that is pretty much the de facto local and state news option for commuters.
Besides that, I actually stick to Fark or Digg. They always catch the important stuff in addition to the entertaining filler or internet meme-y stuff. I have downtime at work in large chunks at times so I never seem to have trouble keeping up.
New York Times, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, BBC News, Glenn Greenwald's blog, NPR's Left, Right, and Center, and Jersey Journal/Star Ledger (local/state).
Those are just the papers I read in the A.M. There's alot more during the day.
