Final Fantasy X-2 - OMG it's like totally awesome!1! The battle system is amazing; deep and customizable without being too complicated. I love the mission structure. Having only three characters is great too. It's exuberant without being too goofy....just an ol' fashioned addictive good time.

I just started up Dead Rising again (I have an HDTV now, so it's playable), and It's some good zombie killing action. I'm feeling a little anxiety from the 72 hour clock and how it's constantly telling me I'm going to slow (too slow to do the missions at least), I've only now realized it's impossible to do all the side missions, and the regular missions all in one playthrough. So yeah...also, the save system sucks, and dying took an hour worth of play time away from me.

Dead Rising is risk vs reward in its purest form.

I wish Saint's Row 2 was a little more punishing. I'm halfway through the game and I have too much fame, too much money, run too fast, and can dive out of a helicopter to fall a mile without a scratch. Fun but not exactly challenging. Also the cut-scenes are god awful.

Smash Bros Brawl. Just the adventure mode for now; not sure that I'll give any time to multiplayer.

On a positive note, I canceled by WoW sub again. With The Old Republic coming, this is likely the true end of the line.

Wipeout Pure is good enough. The meta-structure tying everything together kind of sucks; I don't know why I have to unlock Gamma in Tournament Mode by earning at least Bronze in all of the Gamma tracks in Single Race mode -- that seems backwards to me. Zone mode is rad and a lot of the tracks are neat.

Did anyone else find some of Pure's tracks to have too many sharp curves and boost arrows that propel you directly into walls? I even manage to nick the edges when using Autopilot sometimes, and I'm only on the third class. Pretty difficult stuff!
