How is MLB 2K9?
Why is Yoshi buying games like SF IV for PS3 instead of 360?
I just finished disc 1 of Lost Odyssey. This is going to take a long time to finish...

Based on GI's review of Platnium, it is basically Diamond with a few minor changes.
MLB 2k9 is actually really good. There are a couple of glitches that will be patched by opening day that are annoying, but playable.
It's more of a simulation game, I mean if you have Jose Reyes, he's going to hit .280 with 15hr's and 80rbi's, no matter how well you think you can hit. And pitchers tire and lose control and sometimes start the game with bad stuff, I like it because it's realistic, but it's not for everybody.
Also: Yoshi is an elitist and he thinks the PS3 is the superior system but specs don't equal success, just ask atari
Also, I can't even begin to imagine suffering through lost odyssey, good bless on that.
Yeah this is fucking disgusting, I can't believe anyone is excited about playing a 2 year old game, remade for the same system with bonus shit added. I can enjoy remakes, I enjoy them a lot honestly, but a remake of something on the same system the original was on. TWO FUCKING YEARS after the game was made; it's not even like the game deviates much from any formula so that they have to think hard to come up with a new game; other than the fact they stopped having good ideas for some pokemon after Red and Blue. But now they're charging full price for a game you can buy for 1/3rd that price, and I gaurentee you most the people buying that game will maybe squeeze and extra hour of enjoyment out of this game, because no one actually fucking plays the games long enough to get every pokemon unless you're a kid.
And even then you'd be doing only a few things different. Nintendo is such a disgusting company.
Lost Odyssey is a solid JRPG.
Rune Factory: Frontier (Wii)- The action-RPG elements are nothing special, with the Harvest Moon mechanics though this ends up being pretty good. The graphics are beautiful and for some reason I appreciate the small game world and focused gameplay instead of the typical sprawling epics. Story almost kills it though, standard J-RPG fluff. So my character abandons his farm and town to stalk a airhead to next community where she makes him start another ranch? Should be a study in co-dependence.
I am still playing the games in my first post but I am now also playing this:
And I think it is good, I like it! Yes, laugh all you want, but this is a pretty cool DW style game, doesn't seem to wear on me like the DW games often can. I have not played the Gundam Musuo games but N3 is my favorite of that genre.
