Or restaurants that get shorted by the produce company. Shit happens a lot.

I see a lot of people from nearby restaurants coming by and buying produce. The pepperpants are usually a dead giveaway, as well as asking for a whole case of something or another.

This. Also they have awesome prices on wine and sometimes cheese. My girlfriend eats the flattened bananas they sell all the time too (I like them, but they remind me of trash..so I don't eat them).

Trader Joe's is the closest grocery to me that isn't really *really* overpriced. It bugs me that I have to go to other places to fulfill produce and meat requirements. They also tend to be a gigantic cluster fuck of people that boils my blood for some reason. GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY GODDAMN WAY. It's like grocery shopping rage, it's weird.

I am pretty indifferent about Trader Joe's, their frozen stuff is pretty good.
