Rockies are officially in the playoffs but they still have a chance at the division this weekend against the Dodgers. I know MLB Network will show the saturday game so I'll give that a watch.

I still agree with those Giants announcers...the Rockies have to be cheating by using balls that weren't put in the humidor. Their long ass winning stretch is just too damn coincidental....some real bums that wouldn't hit 10 HRs a year are knocking the shit out of the ball. I watched a game the other day where a Cardinals player knocked the fuck out of the ball and it died before it hit the warning track. Then a Rockies player came up, hit the ball off the end of the bat, it looked like a little pop up, and it just carried over the fence. I'm sorry, BUT Jim Tracy REALLY is NOT this good of a manager...seriously.

None of this really matters though, because the Dodgers are really going through a collapse of Mets like proportions. If they don't win the division this year, all these young players (Kemp, Loney, Martin, Ethier, Broxton, Billingsley, etc.) will never recover. It will be an EMBARRASSMENT to every Dodger and Dodger fan if they end up the Wild Card too. Its just embarrassing when you have 93 wins and can't win a game against the Nationals, Pirates, and Padres. SICKENING. *BARF* for the first time ever, I'm HAPPY that tonight is an off day for the Dodgers.

Some fun Jays news.

According to FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal, Toronto players are "fed up" with manager Cito Gaston and do not want him to return next season.

"It's nearly a mutiny right now," an unnamed source told Rosenthal. "He has lost the entire team." The Blue Jays faded this season, going 39-69 after a surprising 27-14 start, and it may have had something to do with turmoil in the clubhouse. Gaston is currently signed through 2010, but things can change quickly if enough players call for his head.

Its either a younger player on the Jays who doesn't know what it really takes to win...or its a player who is fed up with his situation like Halladay.

If I were Jays management, I would keep Cito and get rid of any player that wants to start a "mutiny" against him. Cito won a championship for that city...so get rid of any cancer who doesn't want to listen to him.

Twins win, Tigers lose so the Twins are still alive. The Tigers just have to win one game and they have Verlander on Sunday. I think they'll pull it off.

Extra Innings is free for me this week (should be the same for everyone else I think) so I get to watch the Rockies vs Dodgers game. Rockies have a 2 run lead at the moment.

I can't see it being Halladay. He may want out, but he's going to get that wish this winter if thats really what he wants. He's just not that kind of person.

Wells on the other hand? No heart, big contract? Got called out for it? Ya, I can see that. And if he can't play for Cito next year then by all means keep Cito around, maybe Wells will go away.
