That sounds about right. This game is ridiculously long.
One review I read said that it will take you 25 hours to complete the game WITHOUT doing the side quests. Is that accurate? Seems really high.

Agree with bVork on pretty much all counts, including the still slightly annoying controls. This game is surprisingly well done. The story is very interesting, weaving together a fair amount of historical fact into the tale. And the game is fucking huge, too. It's not about the combat, or the assassinations, or the free-running, all of which are reasonably fun anyway. It's really about the adventure itself -- very much story/setting driven. Ubi came through, imo.
Edit: Damn, this game gets so good as it goes. It starts off terribly slow, and not terribly fun. Now it's bordering on GOTY for me. It's that good.

"Fiends! Animals! Bastards!"
Pretty accurate to the Italian Overload experience.

That is pretty fantastic.
I can't figure out 2 of the Truth puzzles ;( I don't want to cheat though
Are you SURE about that?
Anyway, I'm really glad to hear about how great the sequel has turned up so far. I picked it up this weekend, hopefully I can pry my hands off the God of War: Collection to play this some mo'.
I think I can officially say that I am addicted to this game.
Yep. And I'm really taking my time, wandering around, exploring everything, doing side missions, and reading all of the historical blurbs.
"Fiends! Animals! Bastards!"
I find myself hunting for any hidden stuff I find right away (like glyph markers) so I don't miss them later. Never know if I'll wander passed that area again.
There's a couple of treasure markings on my map that I have no clue how to get. It's like they're inside some of the houses.
