It seems to depend on who draws him. All the Jim Lee and Perez stuff makes the new suit look like armor, some of the other folks though it looks like regular suit material. Either way I'm not a fan of the new suit, or the other bullshit they're doing to his character. Morrison is writing the new start of his career with Superman being angry and angsty. What the fuck does Superman have to be angry about! They're also having Ma and Pa Kent be dead right from the start. Just more proof to me that Morrison doesn't get or understand characters when he writes them. Fuck Batman Inc.

Not if you could fly, could lift pretty much anything on the planet, had X-ray vision, heat vision, freeze breathe, and had super speed. John Bryne got it right when he made a Superman that enjoyed and took pleasure in his powers. Angsty/Angry Superman doesn't work. It flys in the face of his never ending battle, always pushing and striving on attitude. He's not the god damn Batman he's fucking Superman.
