I'd say that Sucker Punch was easily the worst movie of 2011, by far. It was just pure, undiluted shit.

Never saw 300. Watchmen was decent. The Dawn of the Dead remake was good. But holy shit, was Sucker Punch horrible.

It looks alright to me. At least it looks like something actually happens in this one.

I suppose as long as there's no scenes involving Supes stalking Kate Bosworth's bony disgusting ass it'll be watchable. Maybe.

There were some parts of it I really liked, and some parts that have me worried. I really dig the suit, I like how it has a chainmail look to it, and that it has a decent sized S on it. What worries me, is the scene with Pa Kent and Clark as a kid. Where Clark says should I have left them die, cut, Pa Kent saying maybe. I REALLY hope that they just cut it that way, and that's not his response in the movie. I know it seems like a minor dumb thing, but the Kents teaching Clark to help people no matter the risk, or the outcome is an important aspect of the character. Changing them to having this attitude of well maybe you shouldn't help so people don't know you're different really comes off the wrong way. Plus it worries me that we're going to get 70 - 80 minutes of Clark at different ages being emo about either he should use his powers for good or not.

I just hope the not yet Superman to ok hes Superman ratio is heavily in favor of him being Superman. I hate in super hero movies when it takes over an hour for them to get in their damn suit.

You know, I caught that in the trailer as well, and I agree with you. When Pa Kent was all like "maybe," it kinda rubbed me the wrong way. What a dick.

Yeah...I mean, after five movies, cartoons, comic books, videogames, and whatever, we all know who the fuck Superman is already. Drawing it out is redundant in the extreme at this point.

Pretty much, if his childhood takes place for longer than the first 15 minutes, this movie will suck.

I still haven't watched Sucker Punch, pretty much going off of one guy pointing out that it's a convolutedly layered commentary on geekdom's blatant sexism.
