They finally got their shit together, but it's a commercial. If Tracey fell out of the broadcast booth, it's a good trade.

Just goes to show what I've been saying all year long - if your team plays like shit in front of you and you're the best goalie in the world, you're still going to give up goals. Period. Lundqvist was hung out to dry so many times this season that I'm surprised his spirit isn't broken. Marty is being hung out to dry today and he's probably the best goalie ever.
If you would've told me that after 6 games each that the Rangers would have more GF, more PP goals, and an equal amount of shutouts as NJ...
And I thought the Rangers effort was embarassing.
Two Devils played well: Gionta and Parise. That's about the long and short of it.
:sigh: well it's time for game 7. I'm not sure if I want to get tickets.
Driving around tonight on the radio I heard a guy on 660 railing about how pathetic the Rangers are, especially Gomez, but more importantly he brought up the point I made fucking last year:
Washington has "figured out" how to score on Lundqvist, or at least are having success doing something that is no secret: they're shooting high glove.

TG echoing a thought I had:
"The defense pair of Mike Mottau and Colin White has been terrible."
I'm passing on tickets. I either save myself the anguish of being at an elimination game or save money for tickets for round two.
I can honestly say that I don't really care what happens in Game 7. Reaching round 2 means absolutely nothing to me. Wasting this much energy in round 1, coupled with the league darlings inevitably getting every call from here on out makes the hill pretty steep. Watching the Rangers/Caps series and the Pens/Flyers series has just confirmed my belief that the lockout was really all about leveling the playing field so that the league could decide most outcomes.
