I like this movie. A nice sense of isolation, some anti-capitalist commentary, and reminiscent of movies like 2001 and Silent Running. Not great as the punches were very telegraphed and I figured out how the movie would end fairly early in the middle but definitely very good and one I'd recommend.

I agree, but I basically agree with Taito's comments, which I just now read. It's a good thing I skipped over page one because reading it would have fucked up the movie for me.
It's not the element of surprise, just the predictability and the feeling that more could have been done with this.
I hear tell there's the possibility of a sequel. I am not sure where that would go!

Great movie. Bit slow moving, but good never the less. Loved the designs and setting, and Gerdy was awesome, especially in what he did helping the clones. You always expect evil robot behavior instead.

And yeah. I don't think the director wanted the ending to be a surprise by any means. They were normal guys who did what normal guys would do in that situation. They helped each other out. M.Night ruins most of his movies by putting a needless twist / reveal in.
Just watched this and found it to be really entertaining. Wonderfully acted and love the set and the humanity of Gertie. Fantastic.
