I honestly enjoyed the swords vs guns fight more than I would a generic fire fight

The limitations they ran in to due to budget were probably good for the movie. It forced them to be more creative. I hope the sequel continues that a little bit — I'd hate for boring shootout sequences to ruin it.
That 'test footage' scene ended up being like an entire quarter of the movie, but I didn't really notice. The love story montage was the best.
I like that the finale happened on a Shield Helicarrier.
