I really hope that in the next movie they touch on the history of Blind Al, and Vanessa becoming CopyCat… I'm super excited about Cable. Even if it is Keira Knightly![]()
Yeah, that kind of money is going to make studios sit up and take notice, but probably not in the way that you would hope. I was reading a recent article that said that instead of Deadpool's success inspiring studios to take chances on more original/unproven concepts, instead they'll just start looking for "the next Deadpool."
Still, at least we'll start getting more R-rated superhero movies, as Deadpool was considered a test for such a thing, and obviously a wildly successful one.
In other news, another article I read said that the writers for Deadpool aren't interesting in a big $100+ million budget for the sequel, citing the fact that DP isn't a "saving the world, destroying whole cities, etc" kinda character. Glad to hear them say that, as another refreshing aspect of this movie was the fact that he wasn't saving the world or that the bad guy was blowing up the planet. Meanwhile, the trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse played before DP, and yeah, yet more cities being destroyed. Kinda tired of that shit.

The game was perfect. I was a complete n00b by not checking to see if this thread was game or movie. Ah well, played the game a while back (approx. a year). Great game play, the cut scenes were perfect. I remember the apartment at the beginning was very Duke Nukem feeling.
