Barnes and Nobles have 2 paperbacks (The complete sherlock holmes volume 1 and 2) that collect all of them together, and they're only like 8 bucks each. They're really good reads.
I really have to read some more of the short stories. I read a bunch when I was a kid.

Damn for that price I might have to pick them up too!
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
Pretty decent. Not the good old Sherlock, i grew up reading/watching, but neat re-imaging for the 2000s. Both Downey and Law did great in their parts and I got my money worth.
I saw this the other day. There was a lot of action, but I ended up having a blast with it. I wish they hadn't bothered with love interests, and the secret brotherhood/occult framework felt so typical grandiose Hollywood, but it didn't keep me from having a good time. I've been watching the old TV series with (the definitive) Jeremy Brett, and I thought Robert Downing Jr. did a great job portraying the character, as did Jude Law.
Badvocate was right that it had an awfully good soundtrack.

It wasn't bad. I wasn't expecting much out of a Guy Richie film and his bad habits did come through yet again, but it was still a decent flick to sit through. Not something to see again in a theater with crappy seats, but I wouldn't turn down free tickets.
This movie was a lot of fun to watch.

Fun to watch...
But as somebody who grew up only knowing Sherlock Data on the holodeck, it was not at all what I expected. And if y'all are still wondering if an outsider would catch the drug thing: No. It never even crossed my mind while watching. I assumed booze when he was really f'd up.
Anyway, not memorable but a good use of $11 none the less.
