Personally I prefer the newer theaters they're building here, with the stadium seating. Its a bigger screen than the older theaters, obviously not as big as Imax, and the seating is amazing.
I don't go to IMax.

No.
If I go to a movie I either go to the small theater near me that is 90 years old and still has a balcony and a guy who plays an organ before the movie starts. Or I go to a theater that charges 3$ more than a normal one but you get free popcorn, reservation seating that is super comfortable, and the theaters are pretty small (around 60 seats). And as a bonus, films showing after 7pm are 21 and over.
See this is why I go with stadium seating.
I agree, stadium seating is fucking genius.
The old one or the swanky new one? Here is the only picture I could find of the old one (there are actually two smaller theaters besides this grand one).
Bonus: The Organ (it rises up on the stage).
Edit: Oh, it also has the oldest midnight showing of Rocky Horror Picture show. It has been showing it since 1978. It know has a showing every 2nd saturday of the month.
